EMT Schools

EMTs perform an exciting and fast paced career that is designed for them to come to the rescue in emergency medical situations. There is a high demand for emergency medical technicians who are qualified and come from3Com 9A0-127 accredited schools. As more and more EMTs are needed, the salary is expected to increase.
If you do not wish to study at a traditional college or university, then you can find an EMT degree program that can be finished in only two years and there are a number of online EMT schools that offer accelerated programs. One such school is the "Online Fire Academy & EMT Training". This online school has courses for those who wish to receive an EMT certification.
There are a number of EMT schools that offer accreditation in an emergency medical technician program. Here are just some of the traditional on-campus schools that offer accreditation to be an emergency medical technician.

Austin Community College - Classes are mainly offered during the evening from about 5:30 to 10:00 P.M. twice weekly. During the summer semester, classes are held three times weekly. Along with the EMT-Basic education, one can expect to attend mandatory clinicals. At Austin Community College, classes are usually taught by a team of certified instructors who also actively participate in EMS. In order for the future EMTs to stay excited and motivated about their new career, they will work in a collaborative environment. This college is located in Austin, Texas.
Cuyahoga Community College - This college offers an EMT basic program for those who wish to pursue a career in the medical field as an EMT. The student is prepared for an entry level position with ambulance as well as Emergency Medical Services. This college can be found in Cleveland, Ohio.
Fayetteville Technical Community College - The student who attends this college will be given the knowledge and training in such skills as to prevent shock, control bleeding, childbirth, how to apply splints as well as other techniques in basic life support. When 3Com 9A0-127this course is completed, the student will then be qualified to either take the National Registry Exam or the EMT Basic Exam at the Office of EMS NC State. In order to take this EMT course on must have obtained a high school diploma or GED. The policy of this school is that the student should be vaccinated for Hepatitis B. This community college is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
City College Of San Francisco - If you decide to attend one of these EMT schools, you will be making your way to San Francisco, California. The future EMT will possess the technical skills and theoretical knowledge to work in an emergency pre-hospital medical field. The student will learn such things as the following: the emergency management of a person who has a serious injury or illness; extrication of victims; and how the EMT is to manage himself at a disaster scene. These classes are designed to train people with the knowledge of basic life support skills so they will be able to work on an ambulance. The EMT course includes clinical skills 4A0-100in the following: management of medical, respiratory and cardiac emergencies; pediatric and obstetric emergencies; environmental emergencies; and traumatic emergencies.
