Tips for Clearing Bank PO and Clerk Papers

A Bank PO or Clerk paper consists of five parts which includes, Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness with emphasis on Banking, Computers and English.Adobe9A0-066question Whether to start with the easiest or with the toughest is the question that lurks most of the candidates. If you are really good with any of the easy sections like English, General Awareness or Computers you should first attempt these because they are easy marks, if you know the answer you will straight away tick the correct option. Where as the Reasoning and Aptitude section requires that a candidate solves and uses his mental strength to reach to the answer.
Once you are down with the easy and quicker questions, you can now move on to the harder and time-consuming questions remember that you have 5 sections of about 250 questions in all and an approximate time of about 150 minutes which means you get 30 minutes for each section of 50 questions. So never try to give more than 30 minutes time to any section in the beginning leave that section for the end else you will end up with unsolved or unread questions.
Reasoning questions are based on a fixed pattern the tough ones are the ven diagram questions which at times twist language to make it hard to solve, in the last of the reasoning questions you will see figure based questions if you have practiced hard you will find that a few of them are easy and can be done in small amount of time rest most of these questions are time-consuming and should be avoided usually. People sitting in a circle or rectangle is aAdobe9A0-066question favourite banking questions and so is the chapter of inequality but since the pattern varies from bank to bank you can never be sure if you will get that same pattern question again or not.
Moving to Aptitude section the first 10-20 questions are based on calculation where you are asked to answer the questions by calculating or simplifying the given question. This is time-consuming part of this section, so I would recommend that you should first attempt the bar graph and other easy questions from this section and then attempt these questions. These are long calculation questions and one minor mistake will leave your question unanswered.
Next comes the English section where passage and sentence completion are the main queries asked. Leave the passage based and read the questions directly if you don't have too much time left, you can always guess the answers antonym and synonym based queries by looking at them.
In the general awareness section various government policies, bank related topics and marketing questions are usually asked. You should read the latest, GK magazines, like Competition Infocus, Pratiyogita Kiran etc, also supplementary books by Pratiyogita Darpan are good for preparation.156-910.70
